Rise Preparatory Academy is built for students who need a different path to get there — small classes, caring academic coaches, and fully virtual, online, instructor-led coursework. Our model lets one year of work count as two.

A positive pre-read is an early academic evaluation conducted during the college recruiting process. While it is not an official admission decision, it indicates the student is academically on track for admission if all remaining admissions requirements are met.

Rise Preparatory Academy was founded on a simple idea: not every student thrives in a traditional classroom, and that's not a flaw — it's a design problem. By pairing every student with an accessible academic coach and offering fully virtual, online, instructor-led coursework, RPA lets students who are behind catch up and students who are ready move ahead, without waiting on a room full of thirty other schedules.
Our high schoolers now test, track credit, and apply for scholarships through the same national systems as any large public school.

After a records mix-up at his old public school threatened to derail his graduation, our son found a school that actually looked into what happened and put a real plan in place. He ended up finishing six months early with a college scholarship already in hand.
My son was struggling both on the field and in the classroom after losing his father young. Once he enrolled at Rise, the staff stayed on top of his progress in a way his old school never had time for. Two years later he's working, keeping his grades up, and thriving.
My son had been held back once already and I'd tried everything — new teachers, new schools, meetings with the school board. Rise was the first place that felt small enough to actually notice him. His grades turned around almost immediately.
